Digital design is like painting, except the paint never dries.

Luna is a dine-in-the-dark culinary experience. Sight deprivation serves to heighten the senses and transform dining into a more sensual act.
What started as a conceptual identity design has evolved into a large scale project encompassing several elements. These include the initial identity, stationery, online presence, promotional materials, food photography, menu design and alcohol packaging.

This theoretical Ollivanders exhibit is based on the world of Harry Potter, one of my favourite book series growing up. Ollivander is a prestigious wand maker and keeper of wand lore, hence the exhibit focuses on his life's work, wands.
The challenge for this project was to portray a fantastical world in a more clean and mature way, while still staying true to the source material. Deliverables include a poster, catalog, post card, and a giveaway (a hand crafted with its own wand case).
Over the course of this project, I hand crafted over thirty wands that are showcased in the catalog, as well as over twenty hand drawn anatomical illustrations.

This saucy typographic calendar was inspired from crude, often hilarious messages that can be found in bathroom stalls the world over.
This was a group project that was used to help fundraise for our year-end show. These are my contribution to our “cheeky” calendar.

The Tome of Knowledge was designed as a way to package an ethereal concept. It is based on the philosophy that knowledge is a state of receptive consciousness, not something that can be given freely.
The package itself is a foil for traditional "miracle" products; promising the answers to all of life's questions. Only upon opening is the true message revealed, leaving the audience with a valuable lesson about taking the quick and easy route.

This stationery system was designed for my brother's wedding. The bride wanted something old fashioned with a touch of modern, while also coordinating with the existing wedding colours (white, blush pink, and sage green).
Photoshop was used to pull out certain colour tones in order to match the typography, which is set around the photography. Existing engagement and wedding photos were used in the creation of this system.
